Randy Jones Posted July 26, 2017 Report Posted July 26, 2017 I'm unable to post photos and unable to find any instructions that I'm sure must be somewhere on the site. I attempted to post one jpg file smaller than the minimum size and received an error message "there was a problem posting the file. -200". Help please. Quote
PAR Posted July 26, 2017 Report Posted July 26, 2017 You can use the "Choose files" button at the bottom of the reply box, which permits you to upload from your hard drive or you can embed it by using the " [ img ] " at the end of the address. Example: The above was displayed with the "[ img ]"at the front of the image address >http :// multimedia.3m.com/mws/media/65026P/high-strength-repair-filler. jpg< and the "[ /img ]" at the end of the image address. To make this print here, I've added some extra space bar hits in the image address and img code. In practice there's no spaces, just the bracketed img or /img test inside them. Quote
Randy Jones Posted July 26, 2017 Author Report Posted July 26, 2017 looks like it was a problem with the particular photo i was trying to post. I got this old one to work. wing on wing with a boat load of kids. Thanks. Quote
Don Silsbe Posted August 8, 2017 Report Posted August 8, 2017 I get that error all the time, Randy. And I always use the "Click to choose files" link, but still get the "200" error message. I'm frustrated! Quote
Frank Hagan Posted August 10, 2017 Report Posted August 10, 2017 It still seems to work. This was about 42 years ago, and yes, real men wore ruffled shirts in those days. You should be able to upload files using the "choose files..." link. It inserts them at the bottom of the post but you can then insert them by clicking on the small plus sign in the lower left corner of the image. Quote
Walt S. Posted August 12, 2017 Report Posted August 12, 2017 I can't get the 'drag files here' feature to work. Quote
