bwhip
Finally initiated the boat on 7/30 in the Willapa River at Raymond, WA. We spent about 3 hours exploring the tidal sloughs. My wife likes the boat, but I don't think she's heavy enough for it. Her old stitch-and-glue kayak has quite a bit less volume than this. I suggested she wear about 40 pounds of scuba weight. Yes, I was joking. I painted it with Rustoleum--gloss black, sunburst yellow and sail blue. She came up with the name "Froggone It." I used the cobalt poison dart frog as a model. Action Tiger
Straight up the nicest, coolest paint job I've seen. Equal to any boat I've seen. It is simply a Lovely job. Fantastic work. And, your wife has fantastic taste in paddling hats. My wife and I usually try to score his and her broad brimmed cowboy hats from here or Mexican style. We have burned through about 8 pairs in more than twice as many years... When I launch my firefly, by the end of summer, honest, I'll don my latest paddling hat to share, too. Lastly. That is probably the best place in the world to go paddling in these boats, and it looks stunning. Don't pinch yourself, brother, you might wake up from your dream! Peace, Robert

Our photographer is in a rotomolded play boat.
