Thanks for the info. Tom mentioned that Graham was 'down under' at the moment. I'm wondering whether that means he's in OZ or whether there's another down under. My inclination was to go towards the top of the designed hp (60 hp) as Tom suggests but was interested to hear from people who perhaps have opted for the bottom end and how they feel about their choice. I'd appreciate feedback from Marissa owners re the horsepower on their boats and opinions as to whether what they have is satisfactory. I'm building Marissa #28 and am approaching decision time re horsepower to use. I'm aware that the original design parameters specified 25 hp but wonder whether this might just be on the pinching end of the spectrum. Thanks PeterH
