Hey, Don, Maaaaaybe I could get The Weezer would let you take her Spindrift 10 “Rita Lou” for a spin next summer. You could even dress up in pink for the test run.

What is that thing following you? Our Core Sound can snuggle right up to the beach, hardly get our feet wet! As in our avatar. Are you delivering it to Kalos? We are using an inflatable kayak, ok but can’t see hauling water containers in it.

I can chime in a bit here. I sailed with Avocet while Don (I think) was at the helm. I was in my Sea Pearl, which certainly does not point high. We both made a tack and pointed toward the boat launch to get back. Avocet could not hold that line, she kept slipping away and I could see them struggling to keep her on a safe course, much less an efficient one. I would say this change is necessary for that boat.

I’d suggest that paint, especially the underside, is NOT important. The fish might appreciate seeing a nice white finish but I’m not concerned about the fish view. The inside painting?, Only if it’s really irritating to your eye. I kinda like the look of the new modification wood being the epoxy finish… maybe just touching up the white that was removed. The goal, for now, is to get things set for your great sounding trip with Avocet to Florida for sailing adventure. Paint can wait. Just saying’.

Chain saw could cut the hole really quickly. Don didn’t want to use my idea on Avocet.
