  1. In case you all think I'm slacking, I've taken the approach that since sailing is done here in NY, I'd add a few details. Below is a shot of my Yeti coffee (yes, it was worth 30 bucks) in it's new recess in the cabin step. You will also note the electrical system, which is done (more later) short of a few wire fasteners to tidy things up. The only thing left in the cabin is to make a few gear hammocks and to design some gear pockets to add to the unpainted aft cabin. I'm not above copying others good ideas. Everything is faired and primed above decks. Paint will go on next Monday after live advice in NC. It will prevent my coffee cup from sliding at anchor. The other side is for Suzanne's cup, which she's getting for Xmas in her stocking. Pretty darn romantic I'd say!

  2. It was cheap and easy. It assembled in a couple of hours, including the strongback and the stringer splices. I won't cover this one because it looks amazing like this. I was going to dope and tissue it like an old model plane. It was about a square foot of 1/8 ply and 3"x36" 1/8 balsa. I'd like to make one of each from the books and also a Nimrod.
