  1. I recently finished my Stonefly canoe and waiting for the ice to melt to see how well she handles.

  2. I didn't glass my cabin on the Breeze, but with kids and anchors, it looks like a good idea. Looks like ya got a good helper. And the boat's looking GREAT! Hey, that hatch and "mini garage" at the front sure look familiar!

  3. That looks like a good idea, especially up around the anchor well. I'll add that on every sailboat I've ever owned, my kids are always attracted to the bow. I'll be the kids will want to climb around up there.

  4. Dry day for once, so onto the deck for a quick sand! Then back inside for some thinking... Okay, enough thinking. Let's make things happen. Bottom is glassed, I think that's 8oz. I had a bunch just lying around. Wife approved!

  5. Fiberglassed the cabin top. Used 10 oz on the fwd. part, and two layers of 6 oz on the aft part (I ran out of 10 oz.).

  6. The recent supermoon gave us higher that usual tides, so this morning we explored some nooks of the estuary that are not normally accessible. The canoe is a 12ft adaptation of the B and B canoes that I recently completed. Then on to open the butterfly and go 3D. I don't plan on doing a full series of build videos like I did for the little canoe but I did take some timelapse of today's progress. The camera's battery died before I got everything fully stitched but at least it captured the essence of the whole exercise. Stitching is with thin galvanised binding wire. No drilli
