  1. Bill, Sorry about the slow reply. I work as a tax preparer and this is the busy time of the year. I realize now that I swapped the term river and rapid. I was under the impression that a river classification was determined by the rapids in each section of the river. The North Santiam River has everything from Class 4 rapids to placid sections great for family floats in tubes and other inflatables. The section we usually raft tend towards the lower end of the spectrum. Not like the rivers in the Adirondacks where I grew up. Anyway, I looked at your build website and really like some of your innovations. The lash/attach points looked really easy to do and the skirts looked like a great idea when the wind kicks upon lakes where I would use it for fishing. I like the idea of adding flotation to the ends of the boat. I can see my grandkids swamping the canoe and would like to make sure it will stay afloat. Ron
  2. Bill, thanks for posting this thread. Graham just talked me into building the Moc14 instead of the Flyfisher. I am at the point of going through the plans and trying to understand the build process. This will be my 1st B&B boat to build and need to clean up the workshop and get the materials ordered before I jump in with both feet. I will be several weeeks behind your build and will be very interested in the progress you make on your Moc14. I plan to use it with my grandkids here in Oregon on some of our lakes and rivers. It was intersting that you mentioned taking it through class 2 rapids because we raft a local river here with a couple of short class 2 rapids that might be fun to try. Ron
  3. Hey Scott, Do you have any pictures of the interior of the Belhaven? I am trying to decide whether to build that or a CS20. I like the open cockpit but wife would prefer a boat with a cabin and a few amenities. (And I do need a crewmate sometimes :-D ) She was out on a 24 footer this summer and thought it was pretty nice. Any thoughts on the size of the cabin and layout would be a help in making a decision. Thanks, Ron
