  1. He isn't listening... Let's talk about him.
  2. Did anyone see this in the current WoodenBoat? Cocktail Class Runabouts - Page 58. Looks like a blast. And what a bunch of characters! http://www.woodenboat.com/wbmag/pdfs/WB213_Mar10_toc.pdf
  3. Yup... Typical, family SOP. Congrats, Jake.
  4. Being a member of a family myself, as most of us are, I can only speculate as to your meaning
  5. I got that BS in an email, and I DON'T approve... but it's kinda funny. [glow=red,2,300] Merry Christmas to all![/glow] :x-mas:
  6. Since it's December... Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit our best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all... ...and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2010, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great, (not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country or is the only "AMERICA" in the western hemisphere), and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform, or sexual preference of the wishee. (By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.)
  7. Appropriately from the old Peanuts Christmas special
  8. Flying mushroom? We spent a week on Bradenton Beach years ago. At sunset, a couple guys came out with kite cars. They were three wheeled with baloon tires that were big enough that I think the carts would actually float. The kites were rectangular.
  9. Now, THAT'S funny! I have a big old Grizzly table saw that sounds like it's haunted when it's running. :?
  10. Da-da-da-dum, click-click... da-da-da-dum, click-click... da-da-da-dum, da-da-da-dum, da-da-da-dum, click-click...
  11. Mid 80s, low in the 70s.
  12. I expected nautical... It's faux-adobe! Like right out of Santa Fe! And the decor is very southwestern. Lots of Indian art. It's modest, all things considered. (It is "Colgate" as in " Colgate-Palmolive") I'm sure it's not their only home. I wanted to ask him a million questions. He's very soft spoken, so I stuck to what I was there for. Here's an article about him. http://www.naplesnews.com/news/2006/oct/25/name_himself/?neapolitan I feel like I'm infringing on their privacy, posting about them, but I really admire their story. Rich kid strikes out on his own to follow his dream... How cool is THAT!
  13. I-10 ? I draw the line at the Caloosahatchee River! 8-)
