Thanks Guys. I was thinking that I could just coat it with Flat afterward but am trying to reduce the weight and adding another coat of paint just seemed wrong. I will probably try just scratching it up a bit and see how that looks. I hope the scratches don't effect the paddling to much (increase the drag). Thanks again, Keith

Hey guys - I tried to find the answer to this question already in the forums but have not found it. I want to paint my SOF with FLAT paint. I can find references that suggest using Gloss paint only but for the purpose of this boat I don't want a reflective surface. Suggestions as to paint maker as well would be helpful. If it's just a matter of adding an extra coat of so that's no problem. Thanks in advance, Keith
