Hello all, Just joined the forum and Im in the process of my fist SOF boat. Built on the order of Tom Yosts sea bee plan. Frame is almost complete and starting to think about the covering. Initally was going to cover it with clear vinyl but find myself having doughts about durability. But I do like the idea of stapling the cloth to the gunwales and covering with a rub strip. Thinking on going with 8 oz. polyester from Jeff. Any reasons its not a good idea to do it that way ? Thanks for any insite on this, Jim
