I have a storage limitation. Can the OAL of Curlew or Ravenswood be reduced by 5% without losing overall performance? The length would be shortened but not the beam. I live in the Midwest and paddle on lakes and rivers, and occasionally Lake Michigan. Also, I see that you authored two books. Is the second book a continuation of the first? Will I miss information if I only purchase to the most resent addition? I am excited to being building a new boat and appreciate any help.
