  1. Hi Alex, yes, I hear you. The main reason I would do this is so I can use this fairly small and light weight boat to learn to sail better. Also, around the Puget Sound, the winds can be pretty light. If you are fighting a current caused by the tides, it may be nice to have a little more power with a spinnaker.
  2. Greetings everyone. I just received the plans for the SpinDrift 12 foot sloop. They look great. I was wondering if anyone has added a spinnaker to this boat? I would seem fairly straightforward with an off set bow sprint which you could extend and retract. Thank you. John
  3. Greetings everyone. I just returned from the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend, WA. Great show, very crowded and well run. I saw this boat in the harbor, it has a 60 hp outboard. From the seats, it looks like it is built of wood. Does anyone know which boat model this is? I am interested in building a boat like this one. Thank you!
