  1. Yes, launched it in 2012 in Whangarei New Zealand. And a lovely boat to sail. Cheers Wayne
  2. Thought Graham and other P26 builders might be interested to know that Twiggy (P26 #20) made the cover of the Waiheke Island 2017 Calendar and is the featured photo for January!!!
  3. Oh yes, found another pic that shows a chine log
  4. Hi Howard, don't know if this will help but here's a few pics. I do remember struggling with that abrupt change in panels and think I put my faith in epoxy and glass
  5. Hi Howard, as you are finding, space for lifting gear is fairly limited. I tried a different approach by making the pivot point central in the case ( which also raised it above the waterline) and and attaching the uphaul at the trailing edge of centreboard. I made up fittings in ss to carry the required two sheaves . It aint perfect but it works!
  6. Hi Ricardo, if you search this forum under "Princess 26 interior pictures" you"ll find a few shots , cheers Wayne
  7. Hi Ricardo, building Twiggy P26 was spread over a little over two years. A lot of that was fulltime, say 40 hour weeks and mostly on my own "with a little help from my friends" occasionally. Photo taken at Tryphena Harbour, Great Barrier Island on summer cruise. Good luck with the building
  8. The cheek blocks are positioned for reef lines. Outhaul is one of the three lines running back to cockpit, other two being halyard and downhaul. So in theory it can all be done from cockpit, seldom happens in real life.
  9. Hi Peter, yes I do have topping lifts but usually let the booms down on deck to avoid inducing a permanent bend in the the masts which are built to original plan with alum tube plus hollow wood top section . The lazy jacks are essential to contain sails as they are dropped. I do find reefing a bit awkward with wishbones but trying to improve the system. Cheers Wayne
  10. Just another way of making wishbones using a combination of heavy and lightwall tube, high strength adhesive gunk (Sikaflex)
