Shoot, 20 years and two ruptured discs ago, I loved nothing more than a good layback roll. In fact, half the fun of kayaking to me was rolling, especially with goggles on. It is a very good way to intrigue a sea lion... Now, with my grey beard and hour of calisthenics and stretching every morning, I don't do the rolling, but I still think about it. Hirilonde Posted April 6, 2017 Report Share Posted April 6, 2017 I got my sticker from the USCGA when I had it inspected as part of their voluntary inspection program. My Kudzu Curlew passed. Though I must say the inspector really was not up on kayaks or knowing beyond having a lifejacket and whistle. So another source is USCGA.
