Hirilonde
In one of the labs where I work we have been moving over to ensolv for cleaning metal parts that have to be super clean. It is supposed to be less toxic and non-flammable, etc. Maybe it'd be worth a test to see how it works with gluing. Actually, now that I think about it maybe I should 'liberate' a small amount to see how it works for epoxy clean-up for the final touch after vinegar. Hmm. http://www.ensolve.com/greasefeast.htm It is designed for petroleum products. This doesn't mean it won't dissolve wood oils, just that it is not the intended purpose. Might be worth an experiment. Chemistry is getting safer for humans and the environment and I like supporting such companies that do this. Let us know if you find out anything more. meester
Hi Dave, Actually, I think this is the stuff: http://www.envirotechint.com/industrial-solvents/npb-solvents/ensolv/. The bilgewater treatment plant on your posted page looks interesting. Do you put that machine in the boat or the other way 'round?
