danno82
I currently have a Liquid Logic Soluda, a 12 ft recreational kayak with large cockpit but allows you to lock in knees and responds to a lean for turns. The Vardo appeals to me because it has the most room in the cockpit. The Firefly also appeals to me. I am mostly a mess abouter on tidal rivers of the Delaware bay riding the tide not racing it. Which book would prepare me best for either of these? Don't need techniques for transoms but still want to get the most helpful book. I will search the forum for comments on Firefly. I am not that large but I don't want to be cramped in the cockpit. 6'-2" 200 pounds. The Firefly has the cool factor for me but the Vardo room in the cockpit and more basic build may suit this first time builder better. thanks
Kudzu
You can save yourself some money and just use the Assembly Manual that comes with the plans. :-)
