Three Graham Brynes designed boats showed up to the Pocket Yacht Palooza and Palooza Crooza in Port Townsend last weekend.

Core Sound 17 (my boat)

Belhaven 19 (Randy's boat)

Core Sound 20 (Danny's boat, he's the brand new proud owner who traveled from Oregon.

For the first day I used Randy's clothesline anchor, and then slept on the boat overnight in front of the Maritime center. The event was fun, and got to catch up on things with some of the R2AK guys, including listening to a talk by Roger Mann, and then  a presentation by John Welsford on boat design and the scamp going around the horn. The next day Jenn was dropped off, and her and I traveled with the group for 5 miles until the overnight anchorage, and then kept on going an additional 10 miles to Port Gamble and pulled out at the Hood Canal Bridge.

I found a weird photo on my phone after the trip my wife took of me sound asleep while she sailed the boat.. I remember letting her sail and enjoying the ride, just not falling asleep.

My boat will be at the Wooden Boat Festival in September, I hope some other B&B boat owners show up with boats! For those finishing there boats, bring the partly finished boat and work on it at the show.

Hope to see more of you guys at future events, this one was a lot of fun! For those building your boats in the Seattle Area Randy has a Belhaven trailer for sale.
