ttkayaker
I just finished sewing up my kayak using the double cord method with 8 oz polyester. I might of pulled it to tight. I am looking for suggestions as to what is best to fill the holes before painting. I plan to keep it clear by using Famowood Dura-Tuff Clear Coat. Action Tiger
How big are the holes? Pictures help us give advise, because they are worth a thousand words.

Kudzu
That is a good job of sewing! Normally on small holes like that I would just say paint it. It is thick enough to fill the holes. But dura-tuff is very thin, almost like water. I think I would put a coat on and see what happens. If it doesn't start to fill the holes then I would use a little Lexel. It is very clear and shouldn't show. But you may find that by the times you get 3 coats on it will fill the holes.
