Kudzu
Long story but I have designed my own web sites for many years. I learned old school and prefer working with the code instead of 'visual' design programs. But with the leaps and bounds changes in the internet, new coding methods, languages and new mobile devices it has gotten to the point I can not keep up. Since I want to be a boat designer and retailer and not a web designer I had to make choice. First off, my web site was not, per Google standards mobile friendly, so I needed a upgrade. After some research and trial and error I finally (reluctantly) settled on using Word Press for a new web site. It makes a nice looking web site but it is rather limited and there are things I can not do that I could do hard coding. But, I don't want to be a web designer ...... So, here is what I have come up with. It is not finished but it is close. I have done about all I can do with it and just want some input. ESPECIALLY those on mobile devices. Tell me how it looks and works for you. Specifically if you have a problem with something not working or showing. I KNOW there are mistakes and links that don't work right, It is not finished! So don't nit pick it. I will just ignore you. :-) http://www.kudzucraft.com/web/
Action Tiger
I gave up on the Internet years ago, and this is my only real dealings with it, so I'm probably not the best judge, but I am on a mobile device and the new web site looks better on my screen. I mean the resolution is better. All the links I clicked worked well. I like the slideshow of boats... I say carry on.
DURRETTD
Jeff, I found one link that took me to the wrong design: the link at http://www.kudzucraft.com/web/boat-designs/boats (Slingshot) leads to http://www.kudzucraft.com/web/boat-designs/firefly. Looks great! It looks a little more modern and loads quickly. As an IT hardware guy, I feel compelled to advise you that you should always blame any problems on the software. It may not always be true, but it's a good policy and most people will believe you. Dan
Kudzu
....., but I am on a mobile device and the new web site looks better on my screen. I mean the resolution is better. That is the main goal here. My old site was to small on a phone. The new site will resize itself and the images to fit the screen.... at least it is supposed to, It works on our phones but there are so many out there. Still a lot of things to do but it helps knowing it looks and works OK. It has actually been easier than I expected. Once I got the template to look as close to what I wanted as possible the rest went pretty quickly.

The software guy blames the hardware guy and the hardware guy blames the software guy! That's why so many people have jobs as help desk technicians! It's all about job security. labrat
I tried it on my Toshiba Encore running Windows 8.1. This tablet often has problems with running programs and sometimes with navigating around websites but it seemed to work fine with your site.
