Action Tiger
That is lovely. And a great pic of the frame/masik interface, too! Is your cat nearsighted or farsighted, or are those just cheaters?
labrat
That first photo is the kind that makes the crowd go Oooooh! all together. I can see why you were so enthusiastic about the lines in the other thread. How about some photos from other angles? I presume the extra stringers will add to the weight a bit. How much does she weighs now and what are you aiming for?
Kudzu
I weighed it last night. Yes extra stringers add a little but it came it 31 pounds. Paint, rigging, brass, etc will add a couple of pounds so I am will say it it will be 33 lbs once finished.
DURRETTD
Jeff, Tell us about that coaming! Dan
Kudzu
Standard plywood stacked coaming. Screws in the bottom instead of the top. Just cut some thigh braces in the bottom ring. Will pad them with some mini-cell foam once it is painted. If this works out OK, I will add it to the existing plans.
