Alex
Has anyone heard when the plans for the Coresound 17 mk 3 might be available. I have the standard plans for the Coresound 17 which I was hoping to build but have fallen in love with the mk 3.
Alan Stewart
Hi Alex, We want to make the mk3 available asap and even have a couple more kits on order. Plans and even the build manual are still works in progress even though cs 20 mk3 number 1 is already built. We are even now in the process of turning a huge (45 feet) page in the B&B history book by launching the big catamaran and that endeavor has slowed our focus in other areas. It won't be long!! Pictures of the launch in progress are up at the b and b facebook page (Which should really be called the 45' powercat page) link below https://m.facebook.com/profile.php?id=190417410979750
mcdermitt
Alanon the cs-17 how does the hull shape change in comparison to the mark-3 can the cabin on the mark-3 be adapted to fit the cs-17. I want to build a cab on the one I am building but do not know where to start. I want to have a tunnel like the 20. do not need much headroom just enouph to sit up or lounge 6 foot or so of sleeping room just to get out of weather and rain couple windows for vent. access to drop; and retrieve ancor sait on a tabinacel. boat will be used mostly in rivers six to ten day trips by self
Blkskmr
Quick Question: I was watching the CS15 vidoe and also the CS 17 MK III video. In the CS15 video the centerboard well is glued into place, whereas on the CS17 Mk III video the interior structure assembly is set into place with a notice at the end of the video that filleting and taping will follow. I can understand why but at the same time it seems like it would be very difficult to get good seal at the base of the centerboard and to work around the structure. If I need to wait for the next video, just let me know but I was curious. Thank you.
