Weight will vary according to how you build the boat, the material you use, floorboards, etc. So it impossible to say but I would expect 35-45 lbs with 40+ being about average. I don't have that in front of me if but I am pretty certain that 500# wouldn't be a problem. I suspect it is higher but I will have to look at my notes.
