I was surprised to not get any help from any of you followers, was this a bad request to ask of you all?

Never mind, I cut the stringers at the bow and did my best guess and then ran out of sinew.

Had to order more supplies from Jeff.

With the strong back all set up and the frame supports in place the only right thing to do is

build another one, wouldn't you agree?

This frame work was a piece of cake, I hope the skinning goes as easy.

let me know if you can see these pics?

Well it took me from November sometime til now to complete 3 frames. I had to cut and plane and rout the edges outside for lack of

room in the basement. I had to work between snowstorms and the frosty temps.

I now have a Long shot a Vardo and a Fire fly  hanging from the rafters. I will now with a little luck make 3 laminate comings.

Let me know if this link works?

The boats look great!

I believe you'll be in line for the Nobel Prize for Domestic Achievement if you can explain to the rest of us how you convinced your wife to let you store those boats in the house.

The Vardo is for my wife  the other two are for my son and I , I haven't decided which one is going to be mine. after they are finished they will be stored outside.

We have tossed around the idea of building another one just as a piece of art to hang from the ceiling. they are really good looking without the fabric sewn on.
