mitchmellow
I know its a day late, but I need to give thanks for this forum, you folks who participate, and for everything Jeff has done. I "discovered" Kudzu Craft this year and have learned a ton. IMHO I find Jeff's methods to be the best and this forum to be the most informative. Because of both I was able to construct a useable kayak on my first attempt that also looks good! Miracles do sometimes happen for the non-craftsman . Jeff, your information sharing is incredible. PAR
Don't discount yourself too much. I'll bet your boat turned out as well as it did, because you diligently attended to the various processes and procedures, likely inventing a few of your own. Ditto the thanks, to Jeff and to Frank . . .
Hirilonde
This is a great place and I am thankful for it. Few forums last this long and stay this focused on topic. This is due to the diligence of Frank. Having a couple designers not only talented in their trade, but so willing to participate in the forums is huge also. Thanks to Jeff and Graham. Having built boats by both of them I know just how important that is. And let's not forget great members, who can keep on the topic we all share while keeping our political and other differences to ourselves sure helps a lot too. So thanks also go to all of us. Kudzu
I ran a forum for a short while myself. Knowing what it takes I am probably more thankful to Frank for hosting this than any of you! :-) When I approached Frank he didn't hesitate and was glad to host it for me. Frankly I was surprised too. I know he has the proper software I didn't have but he also has the knowledge I still don't have. Spammers were outnumbering my members and it was a daily battle to approved and disapprove people and then remove those that turned out to be trouble. Spammers have not been an issue and I can gaurentee they are knocking at the doors trying to get in here!! We all owe Frank a thank you. P Doug (WA)
Yes great place, I've built my kayak and am admitting to myself I probably won't get the chance to build another, but I still hang out here for all the reasons stated above. So Thank you!
