My experience is nil and I wonder what changes in handling would take place with a keel like that. Here is the fully restored boat, with rub rails. But with all that skeg/rudder/keel hanging down I imagine it would be dang near impossible to make it turn. Total waste of time and I imagine it ruined the boats handling.
