Bob Bates
Just started assembly of my curlew and looking at the cockpit forward it looks like the frame that you must put your feet through seems to be a little tight. It measures about 17" x 7 1/2". did I do something wrong or is it about right? Thought I would address this before moving on. thanks to all. Hirilonde
Keep in mind that you point your feet when getting in and out. I have no issues, but I only have size 9EE feet. Did you buy the plans which include full size patterns? Or did you draw the frames yourself from the off-sets? My Curlew is at work (I work at a marina on a salt pond), so I can't measure the opening in the frame.
P Doug (WA)
Just ran out to my garage and did a quick measure. Your dimensions are real close to what I quickly measured. I drew my frames for the offsets in the Jeff's book.

GPStick
I can get my 13's through there. I do have to sit on the back deck and slide in though. Can't just sit on the seat and put my feet in but I'm 6'5" tall. Joe
