Kudzu
I thought I had found a perfect fabric but it is not wide enough for the majority of my boats. It's a shame too, it was a beautiful fabric. I am going to be ordering a roll of the canvas looking polyester fabric this week. I will keep looking for a something else more like what I sell now. The only draw back I see to this fabric is you will need to sew it on tight and not shrink it tight. It shrinks really well, but it will stretch back out too. Once I get some time I will make a quick video to show how to sew it on.
Hirilonde
It shrinks really well, but it will stretch back out too. . Have you painted it while tight? Is it possible that it won't relax so much if painted right away? Just asking...........
Kudzu
I have had the same thoughts and that is on my list to do. I have a box frame built and a sample in the shop. Just got to find some time. Spring hit and everyone wants something right now. Plus I have to finish the model I am building for the shows this summer. Just sold the last of the 8 oz. I have a couple of remnants that are 11 foot plus and that is it.
