P Doug (WA)
I've tried everything I can think of to correct this. The "Search" button is at the very top of my screen. I can just see the bottom fraction of it and not enough to click on it to activate it. I've changed my font sizes, change screen resolution, expanded and reduced the screen and nothing. How do I get to it? I do not have this problem on any other forum.
ChrisObee
I see what you are talking about. It affects me as well on my iPad. To access search in the mean time you might try to go to the home page and search from there
Frank Hagan
Hmmm ... just noticed it myself. I'll see if there's a solution at the vendor's site (I reverted to the default layout with the last upgrade.)
Frank Hagan
I can't find a fix for it, I'm afraid. At least not yet. I'm unhappy with both the cost and the difficulty of running the software, but up until recently it did really well at keeping spammers out. That changed in the last few days. I'd like to revert to either SMF or phpBB free software, instead of paying each year, but there are no converters available for this version of the software yet. P Doug (WA)
I was looking at some other threads on Messing-about and someone else mentioned the search button problem. One of the responses was posting the direct link to advance search option. I added it to my forums folder so if I need to search on here I just call it up. Works great: http://messing-about.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search
