Doug Cameron
I bought the Norseboat because I got a great price from an older man who found it too "sporty" for his use. I have used it for daysailing on fresh water except for the trip to Cedar Key shown in this picture (jib is the drifter rigged to the roller furler) http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ She is in good shape. Here is a closeup http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ I had planned to sell my Core Sound 20 (that I built), add a sliding seat to the Norseboat, and sail her in the WaterTribe Everglades Challenge. But my old Watertribe racing partner came out of retirement, so we will use the Core Sound. I just need more room in my boat shop. I hope to start work on a Core Sound 17 soon. More pictures at http://capt-doug.blogspot.com/2010/05/lake-harris-sail.html http://capt-doug.blogspot.com/2010/05/morde-lake-harris-picturesm.html http://capt-doug.blo...arris-sail.html. The hull and trailer are in very good condition. The sail number is 19. She has a full tarp cover. Apparently the first owner left her outside with the mooring cover and no cover on the main. The previous owner said that neither he nor the previous owner sailed her much. The previous owner replaced the main and bought all the camping covers. I was the first to use the drifter (the red and white sail in the picture in the ad). I keep her inside a garage. The previous owner used a 2 hp motor on the transom and did some reinforcing to make that happen. I have only rowed her when there was no wind. I was thinking of getting a sliding seat rowing set-up (available from Norseboat) and sailing her solo in the Everglades Challenge. I live in Sewanee, Tennessee (near I-24 between Nashville and Chattanooga). I'm asking $14,500 for her, including extra mast hoops, covers, camping cover and bimini, anchor with chain and rode, and boarding ladder. ________________________ Doug Cameron 931-598-0565 home 931-636-1928 cell
