machgarcia
Do you tie the lower plywood ring to the deck beams ? or , Does it just rest on the deck beams and keep it in place with the skin tension ? do you pull the plywood ring sides down to give the coaming some curvature ? THANKS IN ADVANCE
Kudzu
The skin is all that holds the coaming in place. No need to put any curve in the plwood, it would just make it hard to assemble. If you wanted to it wouldn't hurt anything that I see.
Gzwilling
Is there any reason why the plywood coaming cannot be assembled than sown to the boat just like the laminated coaming?
Kudzu
I don't know how it would work honestly.
