Hi forum members

I am starting a Lapwing 16 build next week

Any tips on how to determine the shape and "wide-ness" of wishbone booms for her?

I think Tom Lathrop is the only one to date to make them. I am guessing that he measured the belly on his sails while out sailing and used that and the sprit measurements to come up with his own shape/dimensions. It is an increasing radius curve of some sort. From looking at pictures of Lapwing sailing at the Messabout it looks like he got it pretty close. Hopefully he will see this post and comment/critique his design and share some data.
