Phil Stallings Posted November 29, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 29, 2010 I was going to use a 9.9hp but I saved about $500 by buying a 2008 Suzuki 15hp that was still in the box. I am still breaking the motor in but I got 11.2 mph with 3 adults per hand held GPS. I plan on using the boat for fishing and cruising the water ways in Eastern NC.
