Greg Luckett
My Sweetie and wife of 23 years is spoiling me again. For Chistmass she gave me a CarveWright machine with all its gadgits and a nice Porter Cable, 5", variable speed, right angle, orbital sander (the one Charlie liked). She then topped it off with the DVD set, "Victory At Sea". Merry Christmas Gang :)
dale
Santa, howbeit a little reluctantly, gave me a couple things on my list. I got a table saw and a belt sander. My daughter gave a gift cert. for Lowes. I may either buy a plane or router. Getting ready for the next build.
Norman Colter
Santa went by Beckson and brought me four portholes and a pair of deckplates with clear inserts. Didn't get the tools I was hoping for. Gonna have to buy those myself Norm
Bikermouse
For Chanukkah, my wife got me a copy of Sir Francis Chichester's book, "Gipsy Moth Circles the World". She also bought me a $45 bottle of scotch, so I can enjoy all y'all's stories. My Mom paid for our next sailing class, so the money we've been saving for that can go to our Sailing Center membership, so we can rent a boat until I build one. If my teenage daughter could have been bothered to come up with a single handmade card, then the holiday would have been perfect. As it was, the family time and Bible teachings and traditions made it all really good!
barryhill
My lovely wife surprised me with this. Been trying to round up the change to replace the old Radio Shack DX. Bob

And a great day's sail on Green River Lake with Barnacle Bill in his Vic18 cutter with my younger son. DocFrog V21 Light of Day

Frank Hagan
We got each other a new washer and dryer. One of those plastic fins on the inside of the dryer came off and made a huge racket today, so Jan and I ran in there and pulled it out. Had a long-lost sock stuck in it too; proof that the dryer really does eat socks! Actually, we bought those today. We don't do a lot on Christmas anymore, but I did get a 4gb Nano iPod (actually finally got it today after two false starts with a defective Sansa and an incompatible Creative Zen). Jan got a FlipVideo, but the main present we got was a week-long visit from our grandchildren!
