BJ
Hi all, Well I tried my hand at fiberglassing this week end. It actually went better than I expected. I got most of the cockpit done, except for the cabin bulkhead. The weather cooperated beautyfully. Sat and Sunday in the low 70's I had easy 30 min before it started to gel. Heres a couple of pics. Everyone have a wonderful week. [attachment over 4 years old deleted by admin]
capt jake
Looking very good! 30 minutes eh? Must be the heat, I usually have way 'too' much time when I do such. Guess I need to look into faster hardner.? Looking great, keep us posted!
Barry Pyeatt
Everytime I see a shot of the Vacationeer from the stern, I'm reminded, it is a pretty darned big boat to be manhandling around! It is looking great. At this rate, you should be ready to try it out just about the time I get there to see it.
High C
Way to go, BJ, and good news, the cockpit is the hardest part!

ken connors
ditto to highc, the cockpit is a pain in the a$$ to glass. youre doing good, keep it up. i found the glassing the least desirable part of the building process. slog thru it and its downhill all the way. Bob Taylor
I've been where you're at!! You're closer to finishing than you might imagine!! Yeah, the cockpit is a chore to glass but you'll thank yourself later for doing a good job now. What is your color scheme?
BJ
Hi Barry, Well I've done a lot of thinking and mind changing on the color scheme but I've settled on royal blue outside with off white interior
