Rob300l
Hello Everyone, I have a job offer in Elizabeth City, NC and am considering accepting it and moving there from NJ. Just wanted to know how is the sailing in the Pasquotank river and Albemarle Sound? I have never sailed in North Carolina before and any insights would be appreciated. I have a small daysailer sailboat now, but hoping to start building a CS-20 Mk3 in in the next year of two, If I move the new house requirement must have a garage / shop to build one! Also any insider information about the area would would be great. Rob

AmosSwogger
I live about 20 minutes north of Elizabeth City; if you end up moving out here feel free to come by the shop if you want to see a CS20 Mark III build. Here is a link to one of Grahams cruises; it is close to the area you are asking about and will give you a general idea of what it is like sailing in the sounds.
