  1. I'm having the same problem. The search field is not accessable no matter what I do to change my browser setup. I found a kind of work around that seems to work for me. A sliver of the very bottom edge of the search field is visible for me on the upper right hand side of the page. Just above the "Sign" in "Sign Out" I can see where this sliver turns green. This is the bottom of the little magnifying glass button that would normally input your search after you enter the criteria. I found that I could actually click on this green sliver even though I was unable to click into the search field. It brings up a search page as if I had tried to run a blank search, and from there you can refine and input your search. Not ideal of course, but it works.
  2. I'm just a little bit ahead of you with my CS17 (#304), but I can tell you what I did with mine. I affixed the seat stringers in place to the side panels just before joining the two bottom/ side panel pairs together. I know it seems like it might make everything too stiff to bend them after that, but the planing you do to seat stringers forward of the forward bulkhead position gives them enough flexibility. I put the inwales on after I had the hull 3D, squared, and the forward bulkhead and temporary bulkhead installed. It just took a little flexing to get them in to place. I chose to epoxy the inwales in and also threw in some 3/4" bronze screws on 8" centers from the outside for added measure. The screws might have been overkill but it seemed to me that since the inwales are the foundation for several attached structures, better safe then sorry. You will be amazed at the difference the inwales make. The overall shape of the hull didn't seem quite right to me after I went 3D and wired everything together. The bow seemed too sharp and maybe even a little crooked. The inwales made the hull take on it's perfect "boat" shape.
  3. You'll find these forums are an excellent source for information. I'm currently building CS17 #304 and many, many times during the build so far (and the research I did before starting) I just used the search engine imbedded in these forums to find out what I needed to know. If anything comes up along the way chances are somebody has been there before you, and either discussed it here or asked for and received advice here. In fact this is my first post, as I've found everything I needed just by checking the forums and haven't had to come begging for help yet. *knocks on marine plywood BTW right now my hull is 3D and the major inside seams are filleted and taped up. Hopefully I find the right piece of lumber this week for my keel batten. My arms will get certainly get a work out this weekend as I'm going to go straight from kayaking the N Umpqua river here in Oregon to hand planing/ shaping my keel batten.
