We spoke on Reddit a few weeks ago. You gave me some advice regarding a skin on frame canoe that I am building and pointed me towards your website as a source of cloth.
My frame is partially finished now and I am looking for a covering. This boat is very much a first attempt and I don’t intend to keep it forever. Most likely, I’ll junk it after this summer to free up space to begin a new and better one.
Bearing that in mind, would you recommend that I invest in the better-quality new 8oz polyester or can I get away with the cheaper recycled fabric?
I'm probably completely incorrect here, but the picture on your banner wasn't taken on the water near New Bern, NC, was it? If you haven't been there, it is a fantastic area to paddle. I'd particularly recommend Brice Creek.
