  1. By now almost everybody knows this, but just in case somebody hasn't seen the boat. It is a multichine pram almost totally decked over with a single leeboard. At the time I am writing this, Matt is in Florida Bay on his way to the finish line with 7 other boats all at least twice his size. Ron
  2. Did you hear the cheer from up here in Maryland? Way to go! Why don't you bring the boat up for the Small Craft Festival in Saint Michaels this October. It has been a while since you both were up here. Ron
  3. The Watertribe site shows rowabrick leaving cp2 at 8 or thereabouts this morning.
  4. How is everybody down there after Ophelia? The Weather Channel had some pictures that seemed to be from Beaufort, down by the museum shop. Nasty stuff with keel sailboats in front yards. Mentions of Morehead City, Atlantic Beach and Salter Path, but nothing about Oriental or Vandemere. Also, anybody coming up to Saint Michaels for MASCF on Oct 1? I found out that some of the signup envelopes were misplaced by the Post Office, so you may not have received anything. Robin Newcomb or John Ford are the folks to contact if you didn't receive anything. Ron
  5. This magazine is rapidly becoming my favorite of the half dozen or so magazines that I subscribe to. I guess that I should cut back, but SCA will be on the list for a long time yet. It helps that Hugh Horton has a regular column, since he is the guy that first interested me in sailing canoes and the Cedar Key messabout. Ron
