  8. Thanks for the pics, Mike. I think I had saved photos of your rack somewhere but I couldn't find them. Hi, John. Good to hear from you. Hope you are doing well also. We're doing fairly well. Cheryl is holding on, though she now needs a cane to help her get about. Tough gal. Later, Phil

  10. Okay, Dude. Everyone here has seen your excellent boatbuilding skills. Now, how about showing us some of the peripheral boating stuff you make... like your truck rack (especially since I need to make one for my Ford). While you're at it we would enjoy some of the work you've done you your house. Later, Phil

Cheryl's biopsy report was good... no additional cancer! Thanks for your thoughts! Mike, are the reds in the surf yet? Regards, Phil
  13. Can't beat black sea bass with anything (IMHO). Fresh salmon next. I've been told snook is extremely tasty (?), but I've never caught or eaten one. Later, Phil

    Waste no time!!

Ah, so this is why I never hear from you anymore!! Great looking boat, Mike! BTW, I'll be flying home tonight to be with Cheryl for surgery tomorrow. They'll be doing a biopsy to check for cervical cancer. Sigh. Later, Dude! Phil
  16. Thanks for initiating this, Mike. The WB forum is a thing of the past for me and I can't tell you how thrilled I'd be to have an alternate forum for wooden boat construction. Just my two cents worth... Later, Phil

    Help

Frank, I had changed everything in Norton except one little setting that I couldn't imagine making any difference... but once I changed it too, all the little emoticons appeared as advertised! Oyster, you are da man! Thanks for thinking about Cheryl! She's doing well, just bored to tears lying in that bed all day, especially now that I've returned to work. At least I've been able to work in Charlotte so I can be home at night. Next week, however, I return to Pittsburgh and dear ole Mother-in-law will temporarily move in. Cheryl and my son begged me to take them to PIT!!! Later, Phil

    Help

Frank (or anyone, for that matter), I changed the settings in Norton per your FAQ link and I'm still getting the pesky red-x's. Any other suggestions? Later, Phil PS... Never mind! Fixed it!

    Help

Thanks for the suggestions. Must be the Norton firewall, 'cause I don't get the same thing at work. I'll check that link when I get back to NC, Frank. Nice to see everyone here! Thanks for the welcome! Later, Phil

    Help

First post here. Frank, I applaud your measures, and sincerely hope you can minimize the inflamation. Question... I get nothing but red-x's on all the link icons, smileys, and signitures. Anyone know why? Later, Phil
