  1. OK down to the brass tax on this one.. wasn't easy as I live a million miles from supplies. That and I work 24 7... the wife nick named it the wreck cause it occupied the garage in various states for 4 yrs. Here is my questions.. do I need that large 18 gallon in floor tank with a Honda 40 or has everyone stuck with a portable. And if not what is the tank standard Moeller tank? 2. What is a decent size axle to put under her... got plans for a trailer but it really kinda pops it into a void when it comes to axles. Are you having trouble launching off a flat trailer with a wooden cradle or should I place the boat on a drop down?

  2. Amos, if it means anything, I did tape the entire cockpit coaming. It is a area you bounce around in, sees a lot of activity so I taped all the joints, unfortunately in certain light you can see the selvage edges...... grrrrrr

  4. I installed the inner coaming piece. Not shown: I temporary screwed down the coaming cap to keep everything aligned while the epoxy set, then removed it. The inside of the coaming is painted with Devthane 379. Everything went well. Question: Do I need to fiberglass tape where the inner coaming panel meets the cockpit seat? It is epoxied to a cleat, could I get away without using fiberglass here in order to save the trouble of feathering the tape edges? This picture shows the storage cut out.

  5. Some progress shots. Console fitted, wiring and systems ready for final connection. Working on T Top but it is not photo worthy yet. Enjoying working outside where you can actually stand up occasionally.
